This is the ball that will be used and the ball will be "scuffed" for more movement
Players may use any bat of theirs aslong as it is an official Wiffle Bat
Gameplay
5 Inning Games of Regulation, In case of a tie at the end of the 5th inning extra innings rules are applied
3 Outs Per Inning
5 balls for a walk, 3 for a strikeout
A pitch is considered a strike if the ball hits either the middle hanging zone or the pvc piping surrounding the hanging zone
Mercy Rule for a game is 15 runs at the end of a inning
Teams are consisted of 2 players
Teams are allowed to bring in a temporary player from a team not playing if their official teammate is not available at that time
Chirping is allowed
Pitching
The pitcher needs to be touching the rubber mound when starting their motion
No balks
At least both players must pitch one full inning a game (Required 3 outs)
Pitchers must wait for batters to be set and ready in the batters box before pitching
Defense
The position player playing defense must be in line with the defensive line before a pitch is thrown
Position players must keep the ball in front of them for a ball put in play to be considered an out
Even if a ball is bobbled, as long as it is in front of the defender it is considered an out
Offense
A batter that is hit by a pitch is considered a ball
NO intentional walks
Batter's are allowed to switch batters boxes in the middle of an at bat at any point in time during it, but if they are hit by a pitch while mid switching it is an automatic strike
Batters are not allowed to lean into a pitch, if caught doing so it is an automatic strike
Scoring Runs/Baserunning
There is no physical baserunning
Singles : A single is hit by a batted ball hitting the ground past the defender
Double : A double is hit by a batted ball hitting the fence on a single bounce on the ground
Triple : A triple is hit by a ball hitting the fence on the fly
Homerun : A homerun is hit by going over the fence on any occasion
Any ball that is hit through a hole in the fence or rolls under a fence is considered an automatic double
Every time there is a runner on base a ghost runner is put on the respective base
Runners only advance the same amount of bases as the hit (EX. Runner on first, batter hits a double. Now it is Second and Third)
